                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REMOVE CONDITIONS FROM ORDINANCE NOS. 9871
                   AND 9844 ON A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 1915
                   HAMILL ROAD, BEING ON THE NORTHWEST LINE OF
                   HAMILL ROAD NORTHEAST OF DUPONT STREET, SUBJECT
                   TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to remove conditions from Ordinance Nos. 9871 and 

         9844 relative to:
               
                A tract of land located at 1915 Hamill Road, being
                on the northwest line of Hamill Road northeast of
                Dupont Street.  Lot 78, Fairview Acres Subdivision,
                Unit 2, as shown by plat of record in plat book 15,
                page 76, ROHC; being the property described in deed
                book 4135, page 153, ROHC.  Tax Map No. 110I-H-6.
               
               
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
              1.   Office or residential use only.
             
              2.   Installation of site-obscuring landscaping or 
shrubbery
                   abutting R-1 properties.
             
              3.   All existing easements are retained.
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
